Contrary to expectations, a climbing wall can be build in many various places such us a sports hall, a gym, an old factory room, a supermarket, a fitness club, outdoors or indoors, in a park on in a playing ground, in a stadium under spectators stands or in an unused water tower. If you decided on a location you can consult it with us and we will inform you whether it fulfills the technical requirements, that are not so exorbitant after all. To build a climbing wall suitable for rope climbing we will need a room at least 5 meters high. A bouldering room can be set in lower rooms. In case of the latter we cover the floor with crash pads. The only limiting factors in case of outdoor constructions are the investor’s creativity and possibilities… While choosing a place to build a climbing wall one has to take into account its purpose (generally accessible or with a limited access) and character (free or commercial). Building a climbing wall is a considerable investment. Funds can be raised either from the local authorities (cities, towns, provinces) or from European Funds that are very willing to cover the costs of these kinds of enterprises. To obtain money from European Funds one has to remember to start the application procedure well in advance – it usually takes quite a long time to meet all the requirements. In case you already have money we will be happy to help you obtain maximally positive investment effect. Adventure parks are the enterprises of a similar scale, but they are a bit more logistically complicated. However, their firm commercial character can help the investor take a decision… Although built outdoors adventure parks attract a large number of customers throughout the whole year. But, of course, spring, summer and autumn are the best periods to enjoy them. The most important thing is to find a proper terrain and obtain the owner’s agreement. The terrain will have to be fenced. Moreover forest stand must be listed. And these are the thing the investor needs to take care of. The funds raised to build an adventure park can be administered by private investors as well as local authorities, pro-ecological foundations and European Funds. |
